And now at long last...

Its the last day of work this week, I have tomorrow off, and then dark n early the day after, I start the four and some-odd hour trip to Dayton Ohio Via Baltimore, and by noon local time, I will meet n greet, hug n kiss, my kitten, Kristen, for the first of many times...

It's always a bit of a trip for me to look back at my life and see where I've come from, where I've gone, and where I might be going. I mean... Hell, read the VERY first post here and you'll understand what I mean, I didn't plan hardly ANY of this, I didn't ask for most of it, and I didn't aim to land where I am today. And yet, here I am, and for the first time in a long time, I can say I'm well and truly happy, content even, at peace, and loved.

It's been a long time commin' to this point, and its just the start as far as I can tell, of a journey that is my own, only mine, and I am happy for it, sure its been hard, very hard, heart-rending, challenging, trying, rewarding, and a process, since that is indeed what life is, a process, and a journey, and it is this which helps form us, makes us both become, discover, and create who and what we are.

Could my life be better? yeah, it could, but it could also be a WHOLE lot worse.
Am I happy? Oh HELL yes, and as far as I can tell, it's only gonna get better, and yes, I know that it's not always gonna be sunshine and unicorn farts, life is hard, it is a mountain after a valley, up and down, sideways and around, but it is ALWAYS what we make of it.

Some of us are willing to do what it takes to make the best of things, are willing to fight it out, to hold onto what good we might have in our life, to rise above and become better, and some of us are not...

Everything else I have to say now, has already been said, so just take a gander at all my previous posts, and then ad this one last little bits of wisdom from the greatest book ever:

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to purpose. -NKJV

1st Corinthians 13:13
"Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love." -NLT

Recall how I spoke a few times about relationships? Yup, if you can log onto what I'm saying now, collectively here, then you're not an idiot, you're in what I would like to think, is the top 5% of humanity.

Love, peace, n chicken grease children, I shall endure if only for the grace of God, my own stubbornness, and above all, the power of Love.

~Caleb
