Ahh, Curse your sudden but inevitable return!

So in the last 4 months that I have been reprehensibly inactive on here, I have done a great deal of growing, and learning, and more than a little stumbling.

I will devote some time to writing everything down as best I can, in the scattered, smothered and sauteed fashion I am want to fall into when I take it into my head to try and add something of substance to the endless and almost infinite mass of electrons called the Internet.


But to be brief and surmise in a bullet list, here are the highlights:

• My job sucks balls, and the income flow is suffering because of it.
• Politics also suck, but I take interest because they takes an interest in me
• my wife and I are still kicking it together, so no problems or issues there, but hey I can riff it!
• A new found avenue of spirituality has opened up for me & the wife, & I shall likely share the journey.
• My Geekdom is having constant spaz attacks thanks to movies and video games of epicness.
• debating on buying new/more firearms, details pending.
• Other random things and observations of course!

So yeah, get ready trolls, fans, readers and dearest thus & such's, I have returned, and I shall return and...

Ruminations of the heart (part 1?)

What is love?
Is it simply patent, kind, and wholly good and high as the good book claims?
Surely it is the balm for offence, and the tune that is hummed when kindness and goodness follow, yet is it not more, and not just the flippant excuse that justifies unbridled avarice in the minds of the weak or evil.

I would submit that love is truly what has, can and will save us, that it compels us to reach beyond selfishness, even if only for a moment, I submit that true love is the most wonderful thing, the most valuable treasure given us by God, that love burns away all that makes us weak and love ignites the fuel of our hearts, so that we may burn as a light, be it for a blinding moment, or a softly glowing era, love is what allows us the strength to be who we are, and to become who we will be.

The United States of America

Last time I bothered to check, this was America, the United States of, where you are (ideally) free to swill beer, chug whiskey, Coke-a-Cola, feast upon Mac Donalds daily, balloon to 400 pounds, smoke Marlboro cigarettes by the carton, read the Bible, say whatever crosses your mind, wield a fucking Tompson Sub-Machine gun and drive a damn Corvette at 100 miles an hour while waving the Stars n Stripes and blasting @Ted Nugent till your ears bleed and die happy, because this is the greatest idea mankind has ever come up with, and we should all have the chance to live as God intended us to, wrapped up in the glorious opprotunities of Life, Liberty, and the perusuit of happyness, all without screwing around with everyone elses same God given rights to either do the same or not.
